Matariki Artwork

As you know, today our whole school celebrated Matariki. We sorted the school into small groups and split up around all the classrooms. We worked in teams to make newspaper rolls, sketch a design that was related to the meaning of Matariki,  build and then decorate our masterpieces. It was just wonderful to have the older children helping the wee ones! I only had the gorgeous Ella from Room 4 with me... so parents might have to look at other blogs, and the school website, to find photos of the other children from Room 4.
