Minty the Lamb

We had a wonderful visit this morning from Hugh's Mum, Michelle, and Minty the Lamb. He was very well behaved, and only nibbled at a few things in the classroom! It was lots of fun seeing him have his bottle. Thanks Michelle and Hugh for bringing Minty in to see us!

We liked him so much that we wrote a short poem about him (we talked first about how poems don't have to rhyme, but they do have to tell a story)... Enjoy!

Minty the Lamb

Two-toed feet
Excited red eyes
Sniffing
Milky dripping mouth
Shaking tail
Chewing green grass
Pooping!

    I love the poem Room4 (hope he didn't poop on the carpet. Do you think Minty liked eating our school grass?

    I saw Minty on the back of your truck in the weekend Hugh. What a fun pet.

    we had a visit from a duck last year.
    now you have a visit from a sheep very exiting.
